ExperienceA tutor since elementary school, I teach many different subjects. I tutor students in elementary and middle school math, algebra, pre-calculus, trigonometry, reading, writing, and in preparing for standardized tests. People don't all learn alike. Students therefore easily miss things or entire subjects when sitting in class. Miss enough things, and one feels like it's too late to catch up. When tutoring, I team up with the student to pick up the pieces. We figure out what was lost or what they're close to understanding.Having subjects taught at you doesn't always do the trick. Some students need to learn their way. Standardized testing is where many of them run into trouble. I've taken prep classes, labored through workbooks, and prepared to take exams such as the SAT, ACT, and GRE myself. To succeed in passing a test, you must learn it and have the right tools to beat it. I have lots to pass along based on that. The truth is I know what it's like to feel cool, calm, and collected in the testing room. I'm ready to help you feel just the same. When not tutoring or taking tests, I cook, watch baseball, and explore the city.
HobbiesCooking, learning about food, using new ingredients, loves baseball games and learning about specific stats, exploring the city
