Hobbies
I am a bike mechanic during the summer, and an enthusiastic (if not quite talented) mountain bike racer. I do a lot of racing, bikepacking, and just all-around riding. When I'm not on the bike, I'm usually hiking with my wife in the Wasatch, watching movies about robots fighting monsters, cooking, reading (of course!), or playing Munchkins. In the winter, you can find me cross-country skiing or fatbiking when I'm not teaching. Right now, I'm reading "The Gay Science," by Friedrich Nietzsche and am trying to find a copy of "Tristram Shandy."
