I enjoy studying languages. I've been studying Spanish since I was 12 years old. I started Italian and French when I was 16. At 18 I started learning Portuguese. From age 19 to 21 I lived in Indonesia where I learned Indonesian, Malay, and Javanese. When I got back from Asia I started learning Arabic and Russian and have dabbled in other languages like Mandarin Chinese, Korean, Persian, Tagalog, German, and others. Needless to say; I love languages. They fascinate me and I strive to learn as much as I can about how language works. Conversely, I love helping others to understand languages. Tutoring is my passion and I love bringing students to a level where they begin to feel comfortable with speaking a foreign language.
