I am Chair and Associate Professor of Mathematics at Westminster College. I've been at Westminster since 2016. I love working at a small teaching-focused institution because teaching is my greatest passion! I've taught across the math curriculum, undergrad, graduate, and high school, including calculus, linear algebra, all IB and AP courses, intro to proofs, high school algebra, and pretty much any math course out there. I've also tutored for the SAT and ACT. I have been tutoring since February 2013 and have experience tutoring professionally through the Houston agencies Rice Tutors and General Academic, Inc. SAT: 2270/2400, ACT: 33/36, PSAT: 222/240 GRE Verbal: 750 (99%), GRE Math: 800 (94%) GRE Writing: 5.0 (84%) SAT Subject Tests: Math 800/800, Physics 760/800, Spanish 740/800. AP Tests: 4s or 5s on 8 different AP tests, including BC calculus, Spanish language and literature, English language and literature, government, macroeconomics, and environmental science. NOTE: Price listed is for K-12 course (non-AP/IB) tutoring. Prices are as follows: K-12 non-AP/IB: $65/hr K-12 AP/IB: $75/hr SAT/ACT/PSAT/GRE: $70/hr College courses: $90/hr POLICY: Because I plan my days around tutoring, cancellation less than 24 hours before a session still requires payment for the session(s) cancelled. Session end times are fixed; if the student is not present within 20 minutes of the session start time and does not respond to calls or texts, I reserve the right to leave the session (this counts as cancellation less than 24 hours in advance).
