EducationTo maintain my confidentiality during my application process, I must be intentionally vague. Previously, I was a teacher for a top test prep company, certified in Physics, Chemistry, and O-chem. I completed a technicial major before submitting an AMCAS application during my senior year of college. I was rejected despite my top stats before deciding to dedicate the next years to improving my application and studying the application process.
I have written the MCAT twice: first, scoring 99th percentile (38+) after 1 month of full-time study; and second, scoring in the 100th percentile (524+) years later after 6 months of part-time study while working a full-time job.
ExperienceI know there are a lot of emotions surrounding both preparation and the taking the test itself because I have experienced them. There is a lot riding on the MCAT and we often feel pressure to receive a certain score or pressure to complete the test by a certain time.
Like the medical school application process itself, studying and taking the MCAT succesfully requires a sound strategy. While I will certainly share problem-solving techniques and MCAT tips-and-tricks with you, I will also help determine a study schedule and application timeline to maximize your candidacy for medical school.
During my own study for the MCAT, I have personally increased my scores by 8 and 13 points respectively, from time of first practice test to real MCAT. Clients I have previously worked with have increased their real MCAT score by up to 12 points on a retake, and have often increased their subsection scores by 2-4 points during the course of studying. While I can't guarantee you a great score on the MCAT, I will help you maximize your effort and reach your potential.
HobbiesI'm passionate about the outdoors and enjoy any sports that bring me into the mountains!
