EducationUniversity of Utah - Bachelors, Mechanical Engineering
ExperienceI am a recent graduate, so one great thing for my students is that the information I will be teaching is still fresh on the brain. I have my Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah's Mechanical Engineering program. I maintained a 3.9 GPA, so you can rest assured that I have a good understanding of the course material. I usually understood the information very quickly, so I was able to help my peers with it. I have tutored peers and friends from the time I was in high school. This is my first time working as a tutor in a professional manner, but I have a lot of experience with peer tutoring and a strong knowledge base.
Helping pupils understand how to think about problems and solve them is a passion of mine. I know that every student is different and I find it really rewarding to be able to help each individual work through their barriers. I have always had strong problem-solving skills, which led me to major in engineering. I look at tutoring as a way to problem solve. Every student is coming to me because they are struggling and it is usually with different things, so I am able to problem solve and help them through each scenario. I can't wait to share my knowledge and experience with pupils of all ages. I am excited to be a professional tutor.
