My teaching experience ranges across subjects including biology, chemistry, ecology, statistics, and biochemistry. I tutor Spanish as well, since it is my native language. Born in Bogota, Colombia, where I earned a bachelor's degree in Biology, I have taught Spanish there and helped my friends in language courses at Washington University, where I earned a PhD in Ecology, Evolution, and Systematics. I've also taught at Harris Stowe University.To dominate in any subject, one must grasp the basic principles, while having fun and being interested, as they study. My teaching experience is extensive and I even mentored undergrad biology majors, who were planning a pre-med education, while earning my doctorate.I went to the Universidad Nacional de Colombia and the University of Missouri - St. Louis. I'm now a resident of Salt Lake City, Utah and my interests outside of tutoring include running, soccer, and taking part in any outdoor activity.
